Rules for the SRF Walrus Board
Due to the increased usage of the SRF Walrus board we need to make the following rules clear. It is a shame we need any rules at all; however, the general public seems to have located this board and we are attracting a different audience now. If we are to keep the focus, and maintain a civil tone for the debate, we need to exercise some control.

1. The SRF Walrus SYSOP retains the right to delete any and all messages determined to be outside the scope of the section topic. Where possible a thread will be moved to a more appropriate section. Threads can only be moved as a whole; individual messages can't be moved. Messages tacked on to the end of a thread, which don't apply, will be deleted.

2. Offensive or vulgar messages will be deleted.

3. Messages attacking the sincere opinions of others will be deleted. Unfortunately this is a judgement call. We reserve the right to act as we feel necessary to maintain the atmosphere of debate and open discussion.

4. Debates about the need for the board will be confined to the Catch All section of the board. Those who feel the board is not useful should simply ignore it or start their own message board.

5. Discussions concerning Ananda or Ananda-related individuals should be confined to the Ananda section of the board.
