We are going to new friends, home and experiences of warmth, kindness, some emotional support, some work and phsyical activity that is balanced, and settings that are conducive to spiritual life. Do we find agreement with other Walri, that what we have been calling leaving, is actually "going to" the good life, the spiritual life? As the Sister Dhriti said in her email, she needed to leave to meditate and grow spiritually. So she seems to express that she was "going to" live a spiritual life and implied that she was "going to" a home where this can be done. Also, householders and monastics, are you in agreement that with occassional exceptions, for the large part, we are going to homes, friends and small circles or groups of varying sizes, where we won't be traumatized? Go to ....leave the fear farm behind Go to ....leave the bliss bunnies behind Go to ....live spiritually Go to.............................(like in the folk, anti-war song) ....go down by the riverside, down by the riverside And ain't gonna to study war no more ain't gonna study war no more Ain't gonna be traumatized no more Ain't gonna study war no more, ain't gonna to study war no more ain't gonna to be traumatized no more soulcircle P.S. I want to share a sweet e-mail my younger Brother sent me today when I finaly told him I've been involved in a cult (after e-mailing him the video link on How to create a cult: mindcontrol) By the way I tried to get him to take the lessons way back when, but he was smart enough to say, "NO, THANK YOU!" Sis, It's a bummer about SRF..., keep me updated. My main reason for writing you is that I want to commend you. Most people who get deceived in this way won't face it... they go into denial. You seek true wisdom. Those who deny are seeking escape and or security and not true wisdom; and they won't let the truth disrupt that. Your wisdom is a threat to them, and you have seen through their veil. Take care, love you Sis, Rocky My Husband read one lesson, threw it in the trash and said, "I want nothing to do with that fight!" My Mother took the lessons for a while and the magazine. We were on the phone one day and she said about Fay, "Who's Nurse Rachet!" Then later she confessed she didn't like the lessons, but didn't tell me because she didn't want to hurt my feelings. How sweet all my family has been: never a critical word, they just let me learn for myself. My Husband even drove me an hour and a half to Lake Shrine and sat in the car with a book. Blessings, Premdas Thoughts to myself (here come the rose petals....) Ultimately, I am free; I need noone. And in this multi-maya-layered consciousness, appear "others" seeking common unity, awakening my awareness, compassion and love to ever-present joy and unlimited expansion. My true friend/friends are one and all; they are my Self in it's mystical, varied and beautiful unfolding. They are the angelic choirs and grace of my Maker and Master. I and my Mother/Father are One. I give thanks to my Very Own.
