Reply 		When is it service?
Service is an interesting point to discuss. Many devotees, and many monastics, feel that service to SRF is service to God. I would agree that any actions performed with service to God in mind are helpful to progress. And working at SRF, or serving at a temple/center, with God in mind is helpful.

But knowingly supporting the harmful treatment of others at SRF, either emotional or spiritual harm, is NOT service. Just being there is not service. Yogananda commented on the rats in the brush behind the administration building, “They are here but they are not getting Realization”. (Not an exact quote of course)

Be careful of your motives and actions.
