On The Consequences of Remaining Silent
I have been reading the Ananda Info web site, which is dedicated to “bringing out the truth about Ananda” (what ever that means). It is surprising the number of things the authors say which match things are going on at SRF. Is there (yet) an SRF Info website with a similar goal? We can take some of the Ananda site as a starter.

The Secret of Karma
Amma: "Watching an unrighteous act that you know is against dharma, while keeping your mouth shut, is the greatest form of unrighteousness. That is the conduct of a coward, not a person of courage. Let no one who commits such a sin think they can escape. Hell is meant for people like that."

From www.anandainfo.com/

Of course it is a general statement about how we should conduct ourselves, but it definitely applies to those of us dealing with SRF and certainly those SRF monastics who time after time have decided to look the other way.

Extra quotes...
Hi Amachi,

Dakota posted these quotes in the section "Suggestions on what to do." They reinforce what you've said......

"Jesus said: "Heaven and earth will pass away: but my words will not pass away." Prepare yourselves now to be instruments of truth. I used to tell the students in my school in India that they must not only speak truth and expect forgiveness, but that they must speak truth and willingly accept any unpleasant consequences. Make the effort to get along with others through kindness, love and compassion; but whenever untruth comes, stand firmly against it. Never cooperate with untruth."
Paramhansa Yogananda

“The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.”
Albert Einstein

"Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person"
Mother Theresa

"If not now, when? If not me, who?"
ancient Jewish wisdom
