For some levity, I highly recommend the movie The Guru.

Went to see it last year in the movie theater and bought it recently when it came out in DVD. I watch it at home regularly whenever I need to laugh at this whole guru business. It's hilarious.

It also has a priceless scene with one of those kitschy Indian Bollywood dance numbers, to the tune of You're the One that I Want from Grease.

Also, Bend It Like Beckham has some funny guru scenes in it too, and the whole movie is pretty good. Sort of Indian guru culture meets Western anything goes lifestyle. The guru in the movie is also called Babaji. But he's a Sikh. >D
