Reply 		Arrogant Myths - Self-Realized Leaders
Many of you may have heard the myth that all leaders of SRF would be “realized beings” or saints. This didn’t come from Master and is not written anywhere. While the leadership pushes this and at best doesn’t say it is not true (SRF publishes books and pictures of the leadership as if they are saints) I feel part of the problem is that members want to feel that the leadership is going to be the best examples of the teachings. Members also want to believe that as people get better and more spiritual they will be drawn closer to the leadership of SRF. Therefore those close to the top are also closer and closer to God.

I suppose it is natural to believe our religion is the best, our Guru is the best, and the leaders of SRF would be the best examples. But it is a myth.

Anyone who has spent a few days really working with these people quickly finds out the truth. This is one reason they don’t like to work with members and keep themselves so cut off from the membership.
