One of Accounting Department’s problems is that they use a threat of job termination against members who work there as a means of discipline. They are made to feel they are dangerous to Master’s work and not to be trusted. This is of course damaging to hear time after time and so the attitude of members associated with this department really suffers. This kind of reminds me of the Jonestown situation where blind obedience is expected as the culture gets more and more weird without outside controls.

One of the things they fear is that members will find out about SRF finances or how they invest their money, or even the bank where they keep their money. This would lead to criticism, which is a common fear theme seen in the notes on this board.

Many departments are afraid of the members telling the outside world about their disturbing practices. Of course this is just the kind of reaction they draw to themselves, hence this bulletin board.
