New Times LA ...again!!
Drop everything and read this article

SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL
www.newtimesla.com/issues...page1.html

New Times LA does it again. Seem familiar?....

A 30 year member privy to the inner circle of her church leaves it after discovering its many breaches of integrity. All her long-time friends promptly and permanently disconnect from her life.

Loyal believers acting against conscience.

Regaining of self after years of conditioning.

Control and censorship putting "openness, free speech and the search for truth " at risk

An intense Public Relations agenda which combats bad publicity, pressures media to drop negative content about the church, and does battle with the church's Internet opponents.

Monitering Internet postings critical of the church

Inside censorship and surveillance

A league of volunteers to do outside lobbying

Members attending public meetings to foil and diffuse opposition of building plans

Unquestioning, blind loyalty

Superiors lying and encouraging subordinates to lie

An intitiation secret which the church jealously guards in a proprietary way

Hatred aimed at those who speak out against the central belief

Forming opinions about people without knowing all the facts

Making ex-members and critics into arch-enemies -- the bad guys

Negative labeling

A preoccupation with perfection

Litigiousness

Denial of flaws / Infallibility / Belief that others are wrong -- not self

If something is wrong, it's your fault.

Encouraging members to ignore anyone who makes negative references to the church

Don't expect any apologies

SRF? NOPE
....Church of Scientology!
I kid you not

SRF...a cult? (No way! Not my church!)
You be the judge.

AN EXCERPT....
"I bought the PR hook, line and sinker," she says. Instructed to ignore outside sources of information, Bezazian says, she and her fellow parishioners were clueless about what was happening not only to Scientology but in the rest of the world as well. "

"I was in a cult," she says. "Scientology promotes not watching the news. It keeps you inside a Truman Show where you're totally unaware of things. It's like your own thinking gets shut down and you get used to not considering anything that might be critical of Scientology."

THE GOOD NEWS FOR ALL US SRF WALRUSES IS THAT SCIENTOLOGY (WHICH IS INFINITELY MORE POWERFUL AND MENACING THAN SRF) WAS NOT ABLE TO SILENCE ITS DETRACTORS NOR WAS IT ABLE TO FORCE THE WEBSITES CRITICAL OF IT OFF LINE. SO FEAR CENSORSHIP NO MORE!

In fact, here's the site Scientology hates the most and can't remove....

My dear Matas. Your days of shackling our intellects are numbered!!!
