How many of you who work for SRF (or are monastics) lie to your SRF friends, or people you meet at Convocation, about what it is like to be associated closely with SRF?

Most of us do. Why do we do that? Why do we need to do that?

I notice there are no answers to this message. Well, I do lie to people about SRF too, or avoid the topic. Outsiders would never believe the dreadful depressing state of affairs and it would only reflect poorly on me! With a normal job I can talk about things with friends but not with this job.

Who would believe the references to the "bad ladies"?
