Fancy Homes
Daya Mata, and other monastics, live in nice homes with swimming pools while many of the employees live just above the poverty level in one room garage apartments. Living from check to check with no possibility of getting raises (I know people who have not gotten raises in 4 years) or building up savings. Even those living in SRF owned apartments are treated with suspicion and given high rents.

They certainly rationalize it somehow. What do you suppose they tell themselves?

Daya Ma....millionaire monastic
SRF seems to be pro-monastic anti lay-disciple. If you're a householder, you're a second-class citizen....unless you've got money. Then you miraculously attain VIP status. So many of my lay-disciple friends live paycheck to paycheck as underachievers (except the one's who go to Lake Shrine in Porsche's with their supermodel girfriends who wear SRF bangles like Madonna wearing a crucifix).

Daya Mata had a friendship with the late Doris Duke, an extremely controversial woman who was heir to a tobacco fortune. Doesn't it make you comfortable to know that our "Beloved Ma" is a social climber and @#%$ extraordinaire? Aren't you thrilled that she took gifts paid with money obtained by an industry highly disrespected by the spiritual community? The million-dollar home is believed to be one of those gifts.

In the early days, the disciples worked under depraved conditions. Daya Mata obviously has no soft spot in her heart (I know.. I know...what a paradox!) for people who are serving the work in depraved circumstances. The monastics live in a mansion with palatial gardens. Perhaps Ma feels they deserve some hardship for having it so nice. Who really knows. Who can fathom these relics from the dark ages?

All I know is SRF did wonders for my self-esteem. While I was a member, I really got to thinking that underachieving was an admirable, spiritual art. It grieves me to think that while I was practicing plain living and high thinking....and living like a social @#%$-up where not a single desirable woman wanted me, our "Beloved Daya Ma" was living high on the hog in a ranch home, driving to and fro in a pink cadillac like @#%$ Elvis Presley. The @#%$!

Cadillac
Just so we have our facts straight, DM's favorite color is pink but her Cadillac is royal blue. The Cadillac she had before the current one was black. No big deal, but if we're going to talk about it we might as well get it right.

There is all kinds of rationalization about the houses, the cars, the money, etc.: Master had a Cadillac, he spent much of the last years of his life living and working in a house in the California high desert, etc. What they don't seem to comprehend, incredible as it may seem, is that they are not Master!

DM has said -- I have heard it with my own ears -- that not living at Mother Center has added 10 years to her life. What does that tell you about 1) the environment at Mother Center, and 2) how much she cares about anyone but herself.
