Detox from spiritual hyperbole and grand terminology.
At the still-center of being things aren't very exciting. There is no "other" to fear, nor death, nor strenuous duty. We humans created in the image of God open our eyes each day, and unbidden the entire world reappears with no effort from us. So too it is for the Creation, spontaneously arising within the Divine.

The nature of the Divine, Prakriti, is expressed in our ordinary existence and experience, very familiar and livable most of the time. Excitement for God is lived by us in our natural familiar lives. The One becomes the Many. "If the One is all, then who am I?", is the death knell of the ego, yet the body and mind remain, as does the world and experience.

Spiritual imagination, like a Harry Potter movie, is entrancing, but actual spirituality is like a home cooked meal: near, familiar, comforting. Home.
