Reply 		Disfunction – The End Run
One of the effects of the Mother Center culture, which is based on power and ego, is the symptom we all call “The End Run”. The handful of powerful people running the place will attend meetings, work in projects, and appear to cooperate (to your face) until something happens that they don’t agree with. They then perform “The End Run”. The End Run is where someone goes directly to Daya Mata, or at least say they do, and back stab and twist and give one side of the story so they can get the decision they want. Accounting, Public Affairs, Legal, Bni. Jill and others operate with this as their prime means of getting “their way”.

It is all of course done with the best interests of the work in mind (OK, that is a little sarcastic I admit). ;)

This leads to a culture of mistrust and many problems as people realize they can’t get things done and have no idea when they might get stabbed in the back without even knowing it. They even brutalize each other if they get the chance, really mean stuff. Look at the recent situation where they ganged up on Sr. Savitri causing her “leave of absence”. They even gang up on Board members!

Sounds like a bunch of bitchy, manipulative junior high school girls on perpetual PMS. They need medical attention, therapy, and guest spots on Melrose Place.

When you take off all that sari material, they are just human beings like the rest of us. But they have long ago given up on the idea of finding any satisfaction and safety in what is referred to condescendingly as "human love." I think most of them would give up those end run thrills in a second if they experienced even one hour of true affection or the possibility of being someone's sweetheart.
