Black List Information

There are notes on this board about Black Lists at SRF. I thought I would share some inside information on them. But first, what if you are on the black list? If you are posting on this board you are probably already on a black list since you have been in a position to “see things”. But what is the penalty?

They won’t hire you (big deal) or let you serve in some ways (big deal) or let you become a monastic (big deal) and will talk against you behind your back (disappointing). What else?

You may already be on one of these prestigious lists! Have you have done any of the following things?

1) Quit working for SRF (or been fired)
2) Written a letter in support of someone who has been fired or mistreated.
3) Written a letter complaining about how youth program is handled or Sunday School.
4) Worked directly with the management committee in the last 3 years on a project lasting more than a few weeks.
5) Talked to a counselor about having doubts about how SRF is run, this includes a phone counselor.
6) Ever been associated with Ananda.
7) Employees who have ever complained to SRF management about any form of harassment by your supervisor. Actually any complaints by employees end you up on a watch list.
8 ) Lived in an SRF owned home and complained about the arrangements.
