Re: Forever just ain't what it used to be
One Taste, you're such a trouble maker! While it was an apt display of spiritual brattyness and the dangers of subtle egos, however sickly humorous they come across, there was a certain negativity and um... ickiness, that it would have made me rather fatigued at the need to shuffle in the higher ground so much, but who knows, mabe that dance would have been good for me. I'm just not that interested in fencing with fundamentalist yogi terrorists, (what is going on in the Philipines?) though I'm sure that on some level it could be done with a certain amount of self respect, I'm not sure I want to advance so quickly, and I really, truly, don't care what people in general think of Shelley, or for that matter, Kriyananda. Neither of them are in competition with anyone...it's, um, more about getting God...which is, um, us, ultimately and helping people balance. I'd advise anyone to run like hell from fundamentalists, especially Yogi fundamentists (I'm repeating someone elses words here ;) ).

One Taste Has Good Taste

It was interesting while it lasted,
I completely agree with thee;
And you are not the only one
Who will miss Simon Legree.

As a Child of Brahma
God certainly has some fun
In playing childish games
Until His work is done.

“Tag Team Pathology”
Is the game they played,
But in “Exposing Others”
I am sure that’s how they paid.

But a little dementia
Goes a very long way
To making a dying board
Entertaining today.

:o Geez, I am going to have to introspect to see if there is a shred of truth to this. ;)

That’s the beauty of it, Etz. You don’t have to do a thing. Both “guru” and “disciple” are hassle-free, already wound up (batteries included, certainly) flame-bots. You don’t have to feed ‘em, ever. They just root around looking for something or someone to attack and done is done. Engaging them is the height of futility, but watching them . . . well, like I said before, there’s a certain morbid fascination to it.

Fundamentalist yogi terrorists?! Good one. I wonder if they fit prssmd’s list of soulless ones? Ah, now that would have been interesting, watching those two go at it. I’ve always thought you could learn just as much from the anti-dopes as you could from the sterling ones if you look at it right.

OK, I give. You have a point, though this forum appears to be about helping people to move away from pathology. There's a slight logic to providing an example of what that happens to be within the world of Kriya Yoga, I admit. Perhaps you two could start a forum entitled "Pathological Strains in Early 21st Century Mystical Traditions"? There seems to be enough of it about. You could welcome all comers with "Unload your one true way here, we know you are enlightened, it says so in the Akashic records!" ;)

Subject: Dr Daryl Banned

Dr Daryl has been banned from this group. His hate and violence are
not appropriate for a meditation group. He is in fact a self
proclaimed guru who goes by the name of Sat-Guru Dâ Brahman-Atmananda.
This demonstrates that a title alone does not bring wisdom.
