Reply 		Passing of Srimata Nerode
Srimati Agnes Nerode passed today at the age of 95 in Chicago. She and her husband Sri Nerode were early associates of Swami Yogananda. Sri Nerode led the Detroit Center in 1928. Agnes Nerode typed many manuscripts of Yogananda's work in the 1928-30 period. She and then Brahmachari Nerode were married by Yogananda in alavish Ceremony on the Mt Washington Lawn covered by the world press in 1931 while Sri Nerode was Minister of the Mount Washington Yogoda center. Sri Nerode left SRF in 1939. He taught Yoga for 73 years altogether, passing in 1983. She edited and published all his books and lessons. Srimata Nerode continued to teach Yoga in Chicago till about 1990.

She was one of the last living associates of Yogananda from those early days.
