Narayana Giri , it seems did not give kriya to anyone.

I have not heard of anyone except Shankarananda claiming to be his disciple.

Yes, you are right. Shankarananda and a Paramahamsa Atmananda were former disciples of Hariharananda.

Does this mean that Shankarananda was not the disciple of Guru Narayana Giri? Any idea if he was really allowed by his Guru (whoever it was) to impart the teachings? (He seems to be disowning his Guru (Hariharananda?) in that case!

I'm asking this as I was directed to check up Sankarananda's kriya yoga centres in india.
