Hi Devotees,

I have read the criticms of Amma with amusement and also, annoyance.

Having seen and interacted Amma for many years, but not in any official capacity, I have experienced Amma as an amazing embodiment of the Divine Mother. Her immense love, shakti , and spiritual upliftment in her presence is given free and is available to all. Really, it's amazing. Amma is engaged nearly 24 hours a day in service. It is nearly impossible to keep up with her programs...I can't keep up with her. I end up falling asleep, and then catching up later.

To say that Amma is greedy is really laugable. Anyone who has spent a day or so with her can see clearly that she is beyond body consciousness. It doesn't much insight to see this.

Amma is a gift from the Divine to all of us!

Hello Chris,

I agree.

The purpose of her hospital is either a bit of a sham, or open to question, but I believe any of us who say this are standing apart from our own faults, almost as if threatened by our failures/guilt ......we attack saints.
Do we both love and feel shamed by saints?

Amma has been harshly criticized in here, sometimes by me.
As Yogananda says, my time is best spent enjoining the habit of deeper and expressed (by action) compassion for all.

But everything you say above is true, and more so than we will ever realize.
Also, I take time to say in here that everything good that can be said about Amma is inherent in our own individual natures.

My best friend Jason Becker www.jasonbecker.com and I have been seen for years, basically for the last 100 morning programs in San Ramon at Amma side getting the last darshan of the morning programs, Jason's .....................................................................................where Amma and Jason in their unabashed unconditional love move us to tears.
