Not that complicated
From my experience with SRF what is going on is not that complicated. Several of the problem women joined SRF many years ago and wanted to serve. Their personalities, character defects, and probably karma, drew them toward positions of power. As their power grew it corrupted them and they modified their environment using that power to better keep the power. A typical rationalization process convinced them that what was good for them was also good for Master’s work. (No, I am not talking about Kriyananda)

They have twisted the ashram atmosphere more and more and more and more. Members and employees began to join the Mother Center environment in larger numbers about five years ago. Within a few years had a large number of people who saw the dysfunction but were not under their immediate control. (These people consider the monastics “under control” as they are told what to think and do)

New people questioned the waste in Public Affairs, Accounting, and Legal, and the weird power trips and mental abuse from these departments and the executive offices. They naturally complained and/or questioned it. Why wouldn’t they? So these power-ladies had to do something! The recent firings, demotions, reorganizations, and crushing of activities by the monks was an obvious result anyone seriously looking at this environment from an outside perspective could have predicted.

This kind of disappointing reaction has happened a million times down through history. The mistake by those employees and monastics hurt by all this the last few years was the clinging to the belief that since this was SRF it was somehow special and guided (directly) by God. If we take the power-ladies behavior and put it in any other setting it becomes very clear. What would be done in any other setting then? If your family, school, or company were wasting millions and abusing its people would it be disloyal to the family, school, or company to try to discuss it and fix it? No. And I don’t believe that criticism of these department heads is being disloyal either. It actually should have been done sooner and with more intensity. Their recent actions just continue to reinforce this.

I believe being a loyal devotee of Master’s means getting involved in the difficult work of helping to fix his organization.
