If any of you are thinking of adding a message here, I have a few tips for you. This is a “free” bulletin board service and therefore sometimes doesn’t work too well. When the system gets to busy it rejects messages. So do the following:

1)        Type your message into another word processor first, such as notepad or Word for Windows.
2)        Open up this Walrus board and go to the place you want to add a message. Then click the ADD REPLY or NEW TOPIC (new high level message within a category) and you will see the add dialog box.
3)        Cut and paste in the text of your message. Fill in your alias and subject line. Click ADD POST.

This often won’t work due to the server being too busy. So click your browser’s BACK button, then ADD POST again. Over and over until it works.

Sometimes your text might be lost and you will see a blank window when you click BACK. This is why you should type up your message in another word processor! Just cut and paste it again.

If someone can provide a better bulletin board service we can try to move this thing?
