10,000 messages!
The Walrus will hit 10,000 messages today! It is amazing to us that there has been such a need for discussion about the SRF experience. 281 brave souls have registered with the Walrus and contributed while thousands of others have read the messages with over 700,000 visits to this message board. We understand that the SRF organization reads and is disturbed by what is here in these pages. They should be disturbed, as we are. We just wish they read and practiced our great Guru’s teachings.

I hope the Walrus is right, that SRF reads these posts. Much would be helped if they were more transparent. Why, for example, can't they have a genuine 'letters to the editor' section in the magazine instead of just the garden-variety "you changed my life" letters? Members have serious concerns - about finances, about treatment of employees and monastics, about lack of responsiveness. During the Master Plan period, I often felt like I received more accurate information on the subject from the occasional LA Times articles than from Mother Center.
