On the official-hypocrisy SRF message board they state that Daya Mata alias Faye Wright steps down. True or false??

If you are referring to the Yogananda.net board, I don’t think it is really just a board of hypocritical messages. These people have never experienced the things we have experienced and are simply enjoying a little light hearted fellowship trading messages. It is not really my style, but it does create a community. It has its place.

Unfortunately when those people get close to the flame and get burned by Mother Center they are the very people we are here to help. I personally hope that never happens to them. (I can’t keep up with all these messages as it is!)

MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICIAL MESSAGE BOARD

"Divine Friends,

I would like to add my 2-cents (and will add another post below adding new information).

The meeting mentioned in Joseph's post is the one wherein all monastics gathered together w/Sri Daya Mata to announce the structural changes.

I would like to add that while Bro. Vishwananda has been placed in an administrative role in which all area managers will take their questions/problems, Sri Daya Mata is and will be President of YSS/SRF. Anything not having a precedent of former guidance about, will be taken to Ma and the SRF Board for clearance - and hearing of Bro. Vishwananda's great humility, he'll probably take most things to the table. Sri Daya Mata, with Sri Mrinalini Mata, will concentrate their time on getting out the remainder of Master's teachings, including "The Second Coming of Christ." Besides Sri Daya Mata, Bros. Anandamoy, Achalananda, Uma Mata, Sr. Shivani (as other members of the Board) will assist Bro. Vishwananda in assuring that Master's guidance for the future of SRF/YSS is adhered to. Uma Mata is now Treasurer, although I don't know if she "officially" assumed the title. The management committee is being disbanded in favor of the above structure.

This is all being brought about mainly because of the increasing growth of SRF/YSS - the former management structure of the organization was not able to keep up with the demands and changes needed to serve the ever-enlarging family of Gurudeva. From what I have learned, in the past 10 years we have seen a "strong wind" size growth.

Re the statue of Hanuman. I found out today it was indeed presented to Ma by Bro. Vishwananda. Ma said something to the effect she didn't have any feelings one way or the other for some of the Hindu Dieties, but then in India in 1948 when she was on the operating table, Lord Hanuman came to her as the servant of God....

anyway, my two-cents worth. And here I would like to say that while it is obvious that Bro. Vishwananda is being trained and given a leadership role in the society, it is by NO means assured that he will assume the role of President of SRF/YSS. Perhaps he will, but who knows. Master said, "If you all work together with love, kindness, and humility, the work will sweep the world."

Wonderfull.You use wonderfull words;Sri Daya Mata,Gurudeva,Ma and so on.It is the first time I read someone talking with respect and love about SRF in this board.I hope others will follow your exemple even if they write to criticize SRF.Thank you.For the Moderator :'As you can see I'm following your advice and I'm reading here and there the postings'.

It was announced at the temples this morning that Daya Mata has stepped down from the presidency, but no word on who is going to be president. And no, I was not at the temple. I have my sources.

Is this really true? Could it be your friend misunderstood? The same thing was said about a week or two ago and it turned out she wasn't really stepping down. Read all about it, it's all on this board.

Ignore that crazy Vale/Pitt dude (does he think he is Brad Pitt?). He doesn't seem to be playing with a full set of bocce balls if you get my drift.

Hi, I just called Mother Center to confirm it, and no, the announcement was misunderstood. They are getting other calls of this nature. She didn't step down; she only stepped back. Which means she is still the president.
