I didn’t want the following note to be buried too deep. This kind of behavior by SRF is little known on the outside. I find it so disturbing.

I would like to hear from Bro. Viswananda on how this is a caring and compassionate treatment of a family member. Why shouldn’t there be a safer more caring atmosphere when someone decides to leave? Let them stay in an SRF apartment for a while, or help them find a job. Many devotees out there in Los Angeles might help them find work. SRF has a lot of resources it could use to help these “family members”. But instead they are instantly the enemy, a cancer that could spread if allowed to stay. Then rumors are spread about them and their reputations destroyed.

Remember Bro. Tyagananda’s (spelling) super talk on Moral Courage at Convocation a few years ago. Then he left within the year. Hmmmmm

Become? I think they have been treating people like this since the 60's. Only now they are growing and more people are seeing it. And we are no longer in a culture where people will just be abused and be quiet about it. All over the world people are rejecting poor treatment. SRF is also seeing this birth of more personal respect and a rejection of leadership that operates that way.

Welcome to the new age SRF. You are going to hear more and more people reject your ways.
