Speaking to friends
The previous note chain, SPIRITUAL DISNEYLAND, was getting too long, So I am extending it here:

Careful talking to friends about these problems. Truth they may be, but most people in SRF don’t know and don’t care. They come to church and are inspired by the AY and see many wonderful people. Yes, many wonderful people. My feeling is that SRF, though the power of Master’s words and ideals does pull in really wonderful people for the most part. And the weird immoral behavior of the SRF Board and leadership doesn’t affect them much. Books are delayed, their donations wasted, and people’s lives ruined, but it really doesn’t impact them much and they see little evidence of it. (The same goes for Ananda devotees I suspect)

Talking to them about the problems will cause blank stares and disbelief. Remember where you were 5 to 10 years ago before you knew? You would not believe these things and they won’t either. Your own credibility will suffer to no positive end.

Remember in the old days when you would pass out the AY’s to all your friends and try to share the new wonderful truths you had learned? And remember how none would listen? You are now in a similar boat. Don’t talk to your friends about it. My experience has been that doesn’t do any good and only makes you look bad. We can share stories here, and try to help each other understand and recover from the madness, and distance ourselves from it, but trying to make others see these problems is difficult to separate from criticism of Master.
