Reply 		What do you expect?
What do you expect of us low level householders working for SRF? Big protests? Memos to management? Do you expect us to quit? Higher level lay members have been fired or pushed out based on their trying to bring up problems. What can a clerical level do? We have families, rent payments, and bills. It is difficult to find a new job. What are you all suggesting?

No no and no. If you are a current employee don’t protest, don’t write letters, you will just end up on the black list and lose your job. If the monastics are not going to push for change, no one expects the poor (literally) employees to enable change at their expense. But I would suggest that your job might not be as safe as you think it is. It would only be responsible planning to start looking for another job. While they say the outside is a cruel place, you will find you are treated with much more respect outside.

If you don’t yet work there, this board is really for you. Read these things carefully. Mother Center is not a place to go work. This is not a place to volunteer. Stay away and keep your meditations on tract!
