How often do you actually have someone ask you for your thoughts? This is a rare honor. The question is whether the person asking really wants to know. Rather than enquire too deeply into the frightening possibility that in all likelihood he doesn't, I will console myself with the hope that if someone as ignorant and opinionated as Ann Coulter can cause such a stir with hers, I should have no fear of expressing my own. Indeed, so far am I from merely liking my own thoughts better than hers, I actually find hers to be so repulsive I cannot even bear to read them. This doesn't mean that I dislike her personally. She might have been fun as a younger sister. And I do mean younger. I have no illusions how, in a position of authority, such a woman would behave. And that, my friends, is the difference between a conservative and a liberal. Liberals are real people. Conservatives are not. They are possessed by an insatiable need to control and be controlled. The reason for this is that they are spiritually retarded. They have no more awareness of the sacredness of life than a fox has in a chicken coop. They will enshrine what they believe to be sacred in religion or politics, but they are incapable of empathy. They will rationalize anything, from bombing and burning Vietnam or Iraq, to stealing state and federal elections, to aiding and abetting the 9/11 terrorist attacks (although most of them don't dare admit it), so that the military industrial complex can freely go forth and multiply, as millions of people are killed and tortured and maimed for the greater glory, not so much of an idea, as the money and power to be had in its name.
