Speaking of layoffs, can't everyone just retire? ;) What ever happened to all the talk of a retirement plan for the employees? I had a friend who sent SRF details of how to start a 401K plan, which is simple to start. It costs SRF almost nothing, but gives the employees some pre-tax benefits. Nothing ever happened.

Was it 3 or 4 years ago HR told the employees they would have a retirement plan?

I suspect that God is going to look out for all the devotees who have given their love and labor to the wonderful work, but just in case he is planning to use a retirement plan to help with that, SRF better get busy!

401k plans are not being by nonprofits. There is another number/letter combination used by govt/nonprofits. The plans are not exactly the same.
