Thanks again. I can't speak for anyone else, but I am not mad at Yogananda or anybody. I am sorry that his teachings have been distorted. I am sorry that so many people have been hurt.

For the record, I do SRF kriya yoga, I consider Yogananda to be my guru and I believe that I have benefited greatly from his help and from my meditation practice.

I also believe, however, that one should not follow principles blindly. This is where I differ sharply from the SRF. I do not think that the SRF knows what is best for me or anyone else. Each person is unique. Each person's relationship with God is unique. Each person's path to God is unique. No one else can tell you how to live your life. It's fine to offer suggestions, but when an organization tells you to stop thinking for yourself (or strongly implies that you should do so, even if they sometimes say otherwise) because they have all the answers for you, this is problematic. It's even more problematic when spiritual leaders withhold their acceptance of you and treat you badly because they don't agree with you.

These things being said, I do not blame anyone at the SRF for what has happened to the organization. No one gets up in the morning and decides that they are going to be rigid and authoritarian. Things just sort of happen sometimes. If I had been given the responsibility that Daya or any of the rest of the SRF leadership was given, I can't say I could have done things any better. I would have tried my best, which is all that any of us can do. I love them all as I love you all, even though I am not at all happy with many things they have done.

I think it's good if one can (1) separate Yogananda from the SRF, (2) separate the SRF from its current leadership and (3) separate the good within each individual (which is who the individual really is) from all the junk that person has accumulated. On the surface, there is good and evil in us all. Deep down, we are all good. Master always saw the "deep down" good in people, and I try my best to do the same. This doesn't mean that I go along with things I don't agree with though.

I trust Master, I trust God and I trust myself more than I trust the SRF. I do what I can. I make a lot of mistakes, but fortunately God is not shy about correcting me when I'm wrong.

I am glad you are feeling a little better about things, Easyrose. You are beautiful. I wish you peace.

I have an idea. Is anyone interested in doing a prayer circle for our brother Jason? I regularly offer my prayers of healing to whomever enters my sphere. As one person, I have but limited power, but as a group we can send so much more healing. If we can pick a day to meditate and pray, I feel we can effect a healing change. If we can agree on certain hours to do this, then the effect may be even stronger. If we can get our soul mate, soulcircle to give Jason a heads up, then perhaps he can meditate on directing that healing energy to where his inner Self knows it need to go in order to facilitate healing.

This is not a way to spend idle time for me. I am serious about our inherent healing powers, so I want serious participants. Is anyone interested in my idea? Are you, my dear friend soulcircle, interested in including Jason in our plan? Give me feedback, please.

It was a beautiful day today: sunny, 63 degrees, a gentle breeze blowing through the autumn colored leaves.

And I thought . . . why not?

And I decided that I'm ready to say goodbye to Mt. Washington's problems and a lot of my own hang ups at our healing service on Thursday.

Because the SRF mystery is a bottomless pit . . . and because my life and the world are enigmas that God created and that only He can understand.

Because . . . creation is like a birthday cake decorated with all sorts of beautiful, terrifying and confusing images . . . but when you stop looking at the surface and just taste Divine Mother's sweetness, it's not so hard to swallow.

Because . . . I'm ready to let go and have . . . a piece of Peace.

And because . . . I can express no new sentiments in either poetry or prose.

And . . . because I love you.

Thursday it is.

Dear SonofSpirit and Devotee1970 and soulcircle and all of my friends. I want to help Jason too, so I will meditate on thursday and pray and ask Yogananda to please help Jason get better. I really want to thank you Mr. soulcircle for giving my guru who is Yogananda a eagle necklace to wear. And I want to thank Mr. Devotee1970 for not worrying any more about that SRF place and loving Yogananda and all of us instead. And Mr. username I did click on the e mail address like you said to do. I hope we all pray for Jason on thursday because I want to feel you all with me when I do. So I just love everyone so much because I had a really good day to day and I say all of you in everything and that made me so happy that I was singing to my self, so I wanted you to know.

I am determined to email you early tomorrow morning from work.

Marilyn and Jason are moved that you will be praying every Thursday, with all, for him. I told them and Jason's mom, Pat when I was there yesterday. I will be with him that day, as most all Thursdays i go over there for a couple hours in the evening.
Again, he is moved and we will be receptive and sending love prayers to you.
Easyrose, the eagle necklace, two of them, were gifts from divine mother through Devotee1970's heart. The second one is Jason's now and he will be wearing it and soaring as he receives your love.

Always we thank you when you write because our hearts are lifted and that encouragement and never-ending listening/understanding ripple on and on and on into a world thirsty for what you seek Easyrose, and what you found in your singing today. Our heartbeats and soul growings sing with you : )

How are you all?

Thursday prayers are flooding the people around Jason and Jason with three weeks of blessings
One of the three major problems, housing appears to be coming closer to a resolution by the end of spring. Jason has been renting next to his parents, and for the first time solid progress has been reached for the purchase of Jason's home.

Jason has lived in one of three houses each adjacent to the other his whole life

related to this is his brother's presence at the beginning of the flower children
he was at Golden Gate Park in 1963.
a young barefoot hippie woman with a long dress and sparkles in her eyes walked directly up to him, handing him a flower, saying, "I love you."

he was so dumbfounded he couldn't speak.
he had never heard of anything like it in his life, an epiphany

she walked up to the police on horseback.

the cop was as dumbfounded as my friend's brother.
