seems like the longer I'm on this board the more good stuff I find. this legal board was a breath of fresh air for me.
I new that the SRF lawyers were really putting a spin on things.....I could not believe some of the things mr flynn was saying .that guy has done more damage to this work than I thought was possible for one man.and this board bears this out. I still find it hard to believe that anyone with integrity would believe what this guy says. he has so twisted the facts about Ananda and the different lawsuits. that I don't think there could ever be peace between SRF and Ananda. And the SRF board thinks this guy walks on water....And why not ? He tells them everything they need to hear.That evil Kriyananda , just in it for himself .The sex the lies ,everything..... And the board believe's it cause it justifies there fight to save the work from this EVIL man.
there is no doubt in my mind that these lawsuits are evil.
and the srf board out of loyalty to master just can't see it.
"I'll start a fight against you but if you swing back at me then you are the bad person !!! and I will fight like crazy to protect this work from you!"
then they hire a guy like Flynn ! and they destroy this work in the name of master....they think it's worth it because they have protected there copyrights.....it's like dr.strange love .....choking himself with one hand and saluting with the other!!
It's no wonder Kriyananda does the things he does

Moyma,

Sometimes I find it hard to know where you stand. One minute it seems like you feel that Kriyananda is innocent, the next not. I know for a fact that he did have problems in having sex with his devotees, but I also don't believe all the things that SRF and Mike Flynn have said about him in regards to these matters, nor do I believe the testimonies of the women entirely. I think things had been embellished, and I have seen how Flynn can twist the facts in regards to people when it involves SRF. He is hired by SRF to do just that. I don't think that Kriyananda is the "evil" person that SRF has made him out to be, but he has made mistakes. Haven't we all? I believe he has learned from those mistakes as well. I also think that he has done a great work in building Ananda, and I don't believe it was to make money. He loves Yogananda very much, and like he said in his book, something like, "What else could I do since I had been kicked out?"

I also feel that we need to quit putting gurus on pedestals. When we do this we come to a big fall when we find out things about them that we didn't expect. I, myself, have been very guilty of expecting too much from gurus. It isn't that I feel it is right for them to sleep with their devotees, but when they do, they must own up to it, change their habits or drop their habit, as in, go back to street clothes. This is where a lot of forgiving has to come in for the devotees, that is, if they can forgive, if not, best to find another guru.

Thanks to this board I am beginning to think that it is a healthy growth to think of gurus as beings just like ourselves. Beings who make errors but grow and learn as well as teach. After all, if we progress well we will be called to teach, or it is likely that we will, one day. So learning to hold those who teach us in the same unconditional love that we will hold all in on that day is worthy practice.

Maybe learning that is the gift cleverly concealed in the sorrow of finding out SRF is imperfect, and that our beloved teachers made mistakes too.

I'm kinda repeating myself from the ananda brainwashing thread , but i would add this.....Flynn was hired because SRF believe's him .those little twists of the truth he tells .....SRF shrugs off because they further there cause , Witch is always right.
To me the SRF board is responsible for that mans actions just like if they hired a gunman and they don't see it !!! to me that is horrible.
"Guru image of Brama, Deliver us from delusion"....A true Guru of witch there are only a handful, should rise to the top of the pedestal without us putting him there. I don't consider Kriyananda a guru .A teacher, yes.... even a saint maybe, But very human.....

I feel that I should post something to you after my comment, but I don't know what. I am just finding that I am just beginning to feel more into the healing mood right now than the blaming. That is not meant as a put down to you or others, because I had been enraged by everything for a number of years. I had the right to be, so do you. Kriyananda had to go through what he did for his own spiritual growth. The lies, the games, everything is just a lila but it forces us to grow.

Don't worry to much about me ,I really like your posts . if you feel to rant and rave, scream and shout at me do it!
Most the stuff I post on this board is repressed stuff that I haven't really talked to anyone about. and I need honest reactions. I have a lot of anger at SRF and Ananda and I love them both.My dreams of this work are kinda broken at my feet..... After 12 years in SRF I wanted more.... so the last 15 connected with Ananda. this is were I will stay .....it is my home good our bad.....mostly good though !!......it's one of those things, no matter how pissed off you get the healing from the inside will come .I still am looking for perfection outside of myself and there you have the anger.But I also feel you have to take a stand.SRF needs to KNOW . When I get mad and write SRF I sometimes can here master behind me saying "Give it to them , Really give it to them". If you don't put it out there nobody will know how you feel and you can't be a messenger for the light.....God works through channels.

I can't figure them out.If they would just listen to me I would solve all there problems....and then we would all be happy !!! isn't that how it is supposed to work ?

I meant that I had been enraged by SRF for years, and so I understand your need to write letters and be upset. It was just that I posted on this thread and find that these are past issues for me so why did I post?

I looked for perfection for a very long time, and I read that it is because we want to be perfect ourselves, and when you want perfection it is due to a lack of self-esteem, which really opened my eyes. What me? Lack of self-esteem? Then I was reading something about not striving for perfection when reading Kornfield's book. That was when I really gave up trying to be perfect and then not expecting others to be. Still, at times it is not easy to want more from others. I agree that you have to take a stand. I just found with SRF, taking a stand means nothing to them, because they are not going to change. One wonders how far they get into a letter like that before tossing it in the garbage?

Your last comment was funny, and I am sure it was intended to be. How often I have wished that the world would listen to my opinions. Nobody really listens to anyone else. Have you ever noticed that? Even when they ask for your opinion, they go about and do what they wanted to do in the first place.

I love that quote, have heard it many times but didn't know who said it.
I realize the org. will probably just toss the letter but really, I don't write for them, I write for me.and I do think that down the line ..if the pressure is still there they will change, you don't live in a vacuum.the SRF we know now will be alot different in 30 years....Nixon said that one of the reasons he got out of vietnam was the protests....they kinda woar him down...SRf 's next generation will be looser .Heck vishwarnananda is better than what was there.... as far as communication . Granted they are not going to change much but I would hope there propensity toward lawsuits will change.
dharma always wins , and if you stand aganist it it will destroy you......we just have to take a longer rhythm to let it work.
and you are right I was trying to be funny sometimes I think It just sails over people's heads....this board has some pretty serious thinkers !!
