My understanding is that yes, the membership and letter writing departments are in Burbank on Victory street. It is referred to the Victory Building. Some of you may know about the big scandals related to the gigantic Master Plan at SRF. SRF came up with a gigantic building project for the Mt. Washington facility. The community went wild. SRF enlisted the local membership to help manipulate the community but much to their surprise they failed. SRF is always surprised when they lie to people and they those people don’t believe them. The bad ladies live in a world of total authority and being questioned is very upsetting to them!

Several community groups were formed to fight SRF. One of their websites is here: www.savemountwashington.org/

Their usual process was followed and they hired expensive consultants and lawyers to manage the approval process for their building plans which eventually failed (which is of course again their usual process!!). More wasted money. I assume that since Daya Mata is God-realized that she knew it would fail but she let the minions go through the motions as part of God’s plan.

SRF was still convinced that they were the religion for the new age and continued to feel they needed room to handle the millions that would come. They looked around and found the property in Burbank. They moved the membership and correspondence offices there, including a half dozen nuns. They built separate lunch facilities for the nuns and have their meals cooked for them. They even have a separate exercise facility for the nuns there. While practicing renunciation and a simple God centered life nuns like to do it out of sight of the members! Why does SRF insist on create an elite community? Master never did this.

Since the decision was made to move to Burbank SRF has continued to slide downward and they are of course laying off people. I don’t imagine the space is really needed anymore.

Why is it the nuns need to be separated? Do you ex-insiders remember that crazy rule that we were not allowed to see nuns eat? What was that all about?

It's not about the members not seeing the nuns eat. It is about the nuns not seeing the members eat. The guiding principle, let us remember, is CONTROL. If nuns see the members eating something not offered to them by the Central Kitchen, they might get ideas and ask for it. This spreads like wildfire and then all the nuns want want something new to eat. They get out of CONTROL and the nuns in charge of keeping them in CONTROL get called on the carpet by their superiors.

The nuns at Victory Building no doubt have an exercise room because they are not allowed to leave the building. When they are in the building they are much more easily CONTROLLED. Being required to wear saris also makes them more easily CONTROLLED, because who wants to leave the building only to be stared at?

Yes, it is amusing that SRF does this whole operation to move the Membership Services and Correspondence departments in order to create more desk space for employees. Then they decide to lay off the employees. :)
